I studied computer science and have spent five years shipping production software: a year at a blockchain company where mistakes are public and expensive, three at a fintech where the ledger has to balance every time, and a year at an agency where the deadline is the deadline.
Three very different rooms, one job in all of them: make the thing work, and keep it working after launch week.
Before any of it I played CTF competitively. A strange hobby that turned out to be useful: I spent years looking for the ways software breaks, so I write it differently. The security pass happens while the code is being written, not in an audit six months later.
One person, the whole system.
I work remotely from Bali, on UTC+8. That is a full working day alongside Asia-Pacific and an afternoon-to-evening overlap with Europe and the UK, so a same-day reply is normal rather than a promise. Where the clock does not line up, I say so before we start rather than after.
Everything on this site I designed, built and deployed myself. I build my own products because it is the fastest way to stay good at all of it: the interface, the schema, the deploy pipeline, the boring parts that decide whether software survives contact with users.
You talk to the person writing the code. There is no account manager translating a brief into a ticket and back again, and nothing gets handed to someone you have not met.How I think about architecture is written down, and so is how a project actually runs.

TypeScript from the database client to the browser, so a type defined once is enforced everywhere. The rest is deliberately unremarkable.
